Planning the trip

Until two months ago, we were extremely excited about spending July and August travelling in South America.

We even bought some guidebooks but we started to check flights and we realized that they were very expensive, not only to go from Spain to America but also travelling from one capital to another.

We didn’t want our trip to be very expensive so we changed our destination to another that I personally had reserved for another time in my life when I would have serveral months to explore it.

But, as they say “don’t leave for tomorrow what you can do today”, we decided to go to southeast Asia. We checked every city where we could fly to and found out that the cheapest one seams to be Hong Kong (350 Euros, Frankfurt-Hong Kong).

Having booked our flight, there was no way back. Looking for our best offer to get to the heart of Southeast Asia from Hong Kong (China), we found out that the cheapest way was to fly to Malaysia: Singapur (40eur.) and then from Kuala Lumpur to Siem Reap (Cambodia, 30 euros).

Our first choice was to fly from Hong Kong to Bangkok but, as it cost 120 euros, we decided to spend less money and visit Malaysia first instead.

Once in Cambodia we will start improvising… We are planning on visiting Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. I don´t want to bore you now with details. I will be posting where we are and how we get there during our trip.

Hope you enjoy reading about our adventures!
