Although it was nice to be back to the civilization, Ho Chi Min City itself didn´t have much to offer as the rest of Vietnam´s cities but it is one of the best places to stop by and take a “day off” from your scheduled trip, just walking around and enjoying De Tham street night life. We visited Notre Dame Cathedral, Mariamman Hindu Temple and Jade Emperor Pagoda in a four hour walking.

Early in the morning the next day, we took a plane to Hanoi and we arrived when it was pouring outside. I was almost going to faint and we were already soaking wet when we decided to stay maybe in one of the most expensive hotels in the area (the guy in the front desk took advantage of me being sick). Apart from the price, it was the perfect place for me to sleep during that day and recover from what I had. We didn´t do much because of my sickness but I still was strong enough to go outside for a night walk through the busy market.

We were going to go to Halong Bay the next morning and we had to come back to Hanoi again to take a flight to Bangkok so we were not worried that we hadn´t seen much because we would have another chance to visit the interesting places when we would get back in a few days.
