USA East Coast Photo Book, Day Three (part 1): New York
Adriii finaly got the time to do her long-time expected train-trip through the north-east coast of the United States… and she is telling us about her journey!

We left the hotel quite early today to take the subway to Brooklyn. Once there, we walk around a bit but always towards the river. Then we arrive to the East River Park, a really beautiful place no one visiting New York. There, both Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges meet and when you mix it with the riverside and the skyline of Manhattan, the view is just marvelous.

Sadly, we have to continue so we walk the Brooklyn Bridge to the other side. I recommend everyone to do this: it’s not that long and gives you pretty sights. If you do it as we did, from Brooklyn to Manhattan, the bridge lands in the City Hall area so you can continue visiting. We catch some breath in the civic center’s park and go to see the Courthouse. A lot of movie scenes come to my head while we enjoy a street spectacle sitting on the stairs.

It’s time to visit the World Trade Center, or what’s left of it. Right now they’re building new skyscrapers so you can’t really see anything through the fence. We content us visiting the memorial and museum. We take a look to the Trinity Church, a big pretty brown cathedral placed among Wall Street’s Skyscrapers near there.

It’s lunchtime and we decide to fill ourselves with energy at the Wall Street Area Friday’s restaurant. It’s a cheap, very American place and you can take a picture with a human-sized liberty statue
Today has been a really complete one so I’ll split it in two posts. Don’t miss the second part; I’ll talk about the NY Stock Exchange and the Staten Island Ferry, among a lot of other things
