Pick of the week: Papabubble, hard candy store
Posted on October 26, 2009 by maria
The smell of cooked sugar wafting down a quiet street in the Barri Gòtic….Papabubble owners make old-fashioned way sweets.
All their candies are made of sugar, water, glucose and colors. Candy makers melt the sugar, add colors, and make shapes inside the shop. One of the shop keeper was cutting the candy in one-bite size.
It´s like visiting a small candy factory, where all the doors are open.
