China’s National Grand Theatre in Beijing
Looking more like it came from outer space and landed in Beijing, China’s National Grand Theatre is an astounding architectural feat. Designed by the talented French Paul Andreu, he has designed some of worlds amazing new airports Dubai, Cairo & Paris Orly. the building took 7 years to build but you can really see it was worth every single minute.

We loved the futuristic look to the Grand Theatre and the feeling that at any second you will see smoke rise and off it flies !! Do you know any building like this, if so tell us about them!

Wendushuicheng, located in a nearby suburb of the city, is perhaps the best water park in Beijing. It is said to be the biggest water playground in Asia. A saturday in Beijing
Follow us on a Beijingers Saturday. Fang has written a guide telling us all the places she used to go on a Saturday.
It’ll be a pleasure to spend the morning in the Temple of Heaven where we can play games like badminton or walk in the fresh air.

Then to have lunch in the restaurant of Beijing traditional noodle located in the middle of the east gate and north gate.

How about to go window-shopping in the Pearl Market that it’s just in the other side of the restaurant, they have not only the precious pearl products but also chinese traditional products and all kinds of stuffs with nice prices.

After that, we usually go to the Wangfujing Walking Street which is the most famous commercial walking street in Beijing. At 9:00pm, to enjoy the traditional food in the Donghuamen Night Market.

Pick of the week: Nanluoguxiang
Cool place No.002. A perfect combination of traditional Hutong of Beijing and Petty Bourgeois Sentiment of the modern time.
There are creative corners, coffee shops, antique shops, etc.

My fun there: Walking lazily like a cat , sitting in a cloth handicraft sofa, drowning into the deep silence…
